To Whom It May Concern: Name: Da'Nea (Da-Nay) Kemp Age: 23 Years of Experience: 5 years I am a student that has attended two different universities: Western Michigan University and Wayne State University. I majored in Psychology and minored in Communications at Western Michigan University. I studied several areas of psychology, specifically Child Psychology. Even though I was unable to continue my studies, I still was interested and put effort into gaining knowledge. Wayne State University was my second university experience, in which I have switched from Psychology to Film Productions. Still minoring in Communications, I learned about presentation and interpersonal communication overall. I did not complete this degree as well due to personal issues, yet I am still motivated for education. As far as hands-on experience with children, I was placed into foster care at the age of 10 years old. When I became adopted at the age of 13, my adoptive mother gave me a job of assisting with the foster child who was temporarily placed in her home. I did this up until I left for college at the age of 18. It was an enjoyable experience to meet children from different types of backgrounds and actually relating to them. I'd said that I related and understood the children more than my adoptive mom due to my background. It'll be times I would have to watch my nieces and nephews AND the foster children that were there. I am very patient and attentive, especially when it comes to children and animals. I've always been an influential leader and feel that I would be a candidate for inspiring children. I love teachings new things as well as learning new things! Not only do I love animals, throughout my lifetime I have always acquired a pet. I currently own two dogs, a Colby Pit Bull and a Jack Russell Terrier. I would say that dogs are my specialty, yet I am comfortable and eager to work with other pets as well! I am highly skilled in customer service, which has required training to deal with all types of people and patience. I plan to go back to school for Cosmetology in July 2019, however, until then I would like to look for employment.
