Hello, my name is Lucianna Lothamer and I am an incoming freshman at Grand Valley State University, and am a Special Education Major. My current school schedule allows me to do later work nights, all day Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have reliable transportation and am willing to pick up or drop the kids off! I can also work holidays and breaks. I am looking for a base pay of $15/hour plus gas money if commutes require more than a 25 minute drive, but am willing to negotiate pricing and transportation details further. I am CPR/AED/First Aid/BVM certified and have over three years of work experience. I work mainly as a lifeguard and a waitress throughout the year, but also have over two years of experience as a swim instructor and church childcare center leader. During high school I was in over 13 extracurricular's including internships, clubs, sports, and leadership positions. I maintained a 3.85 GPA throughout all four years, and am very driven by hard work and succeeding within school and work. During my time working as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and maintenance lifeguard, I built a strong foundation in customer service, helping others, accessing emergency situations, leadership, and team collaboration. This past year, I have also been employed as a waitress, where I learned the importance of following food and kitchen safety regulations, managing tasks within fast-paced settings, and multitasking while remaining calm under pressure. Working directly with customers, and my experience with responding to emergency situations, has been particularly rewarding, but has also deepened my empathy, communication, and patience towards others. I am an extremely outgoing, empathetic, and caring individual, and have the confidence and grit that makes for a good leader and influence. I am comfortable around children with varying levels of cognitive function and disability, and have over two years of working one on one with children of all ages with disabilities. I feel more than comfortable working with children of any age, helping with bathroom needs, maintaining routines, and accommodating any other needs a child may have. Additionally, with my background of over three years of dealing with first and providing care for those experiencing medical emergencies, I feel confident with my skills in order to provide emergency or live-saving care in any event. I am very organized and like sticking to schedules, but I am more than willing to be flexible and go with the flow! I love all things outdoors, swimming, going to the lake, going for walks, going to the park, and would love to share this joy! I am comfortable around pets and don't have any severe allergies to anything. I would love to chat further about my qualifications and send you my resume.
