Hello! My name is Lexi, I am 18 years old and currently a student at the University of Connecticut where I am studying Music Education. I have babysat children ages 5 within my own neighborhood since I was about 14. I love children and hope one day to pursue a career in education at the elementary school level. As President of the National Honor Society at Salem High School I spent time watching the children of staff members during evening meetings and volunteered at various events at local elementary schools. Through NHS I also participated in tutoring of my fellow students as well as elementary age students. I would be more than happy to help children with their homework or provide tutoring. I am also flexible as far as hours are concerned. In addition, I would be very willing to run errands and prepare snacks for children.
