Hailing from the UK, I have moved to Los Angeles with a wealth of experience in babysitting and nannying, as well as tutoring and teaching languages (French and German). I spent years living with my young cousins, which is where most of my experience came from. They were between the ages of 3 months old and 5 years old at the time. I have also regularly cared for children aged from infant to 13 years old. I am active and creative: definitely preferring games and the outdoors to being glued to the TV! I am mature, reliable, enthusiastic, efficient and certainly a fantastic choice for a babysitter.

I hired Lara to take care of my 12 year-old, my 10 year-old and my two very young cats. She was fantastic from start to finish! She warned me she had a problem with being early (meaning she is always slightly too early) and there she was, 15 minutes before her start time, beaming and raring to go! That's my kind of caregiver! My two girls adored Lara and they all got along extremely well. They even managed to devote some time to the young cats, which was ideal. Lara is so gentle and kind around kids and animals, both. I can't say enough positive things about her, except that we'd definitely love to have her back!
