Hello, Moms, Dads & guardians! I’m Tori Smyklo, I’m 21 years old, a college student beginning in Fall 2019, looking for a babysitter/nanny job opportunity in or around Alpharetta/Johns Creek, Georgia. I do not drive because of a car accident but transportation is not an issue. Capable of working all day, every week day and sometimes on weekends and nights, whatever is needed for you. But will provide a schedule each week of availability for your convenience. I am highly creative with books, toys, art, games (online and off), music, and outside and inside play. I am experienced with children from ages nine to one, boys and girls, and am very responsible with pets as well: dogs, cats, caged animals and fish. Willing to do housekeeping, laundry, petcare, and some cooking with guidance on what the children would prefer, with a list of things Mom or Dad would like done inside the house for the day. I am highly intelligent, (scored 2100 on SAT and graduated with all A’s), so willing to help children with summer work, reading, writing, math and science, or just basic summer enrichment - also will make play educational when appropriate. I can provide children’s movies and will always monitor what they’re watching when having screen time. I speak only English but have some profiency in Spanish, not enough to work for an only Spanish speaking family but enough to help children learn or understand second language. I am not comfortable taking children to swim in a pool because while I can swim, I am not the most proficient and am not CPR-certified. Will provide play inside the home and in the home’s yard, but do not want to take children to outside locations so no one is lost or endangered. Capable of treating first aid injuries, providing medicine with guidance on usage from parents, (prescription or over-the-counter), And will always defer to parents’ preference for healthcare, diet, and rules on what is and isn’t allowed. Not much experience with babies under one year old but happy to learn once earned your trust. I am a problem solver, very responsible and capable of teaching, entertaining and caring for your children in your absence.
