Sitter in Chattanooga, Tennessee

For 23 years, I've mainly gone by "Mooooom". But, as it turns out, when your eldest daughter marries, that title gets less use. Suddenly, I am looking for a good use of my new "free time". I am a non-traditional student and do a good bit of volunteering but those things don't fill up my time. So I find myself here. Not only do I have the experiences with my daughter, I was married for 13 years and added two more daughters to my heart. I have also done childcare for churches, countless friends, non-profits, etc. I spent 10 years homeschooling my two stepchildren - as well as other homeschoolers in their groups - and I feel that has given me a skill that other nannies may not be able to offer. I love to cook real food (and am experienced with picky eaters and devout vegetarians), actually enjoy cleaning, despise screen addictions and somehow allow myself to silly dance if I am hanging with a bunch of kids. I think reading to kids is not only critical to their life long learning, but is also an absolute joy!
