Who I Am: I'm Jamie. I'm 28 years old and married to a United States Marine. We live on campus at Ferris State which is fairly central to everything. I am creative and artsy. I believe child-rearing takes a village, something that is increasingly disappearing in today's world! I'll be a piece of your village and your kids will be well taken care of with me. I am more naturally inclined. For instance, I usually make my own cleaning supplies, practice yoga, compost and try to remember to use reusable bags when at the market. I'm not a hippie or even super crunchy (not that there's anything wrong with that!) but I like to attempt to be conscious of the impact I leave behind. Description of Skills: I am happy to help with transport, overnight care, as needed and creative exploration like arts, painting, crafting, etc. I have my own car and an active license. I am trained in CPR but I'll need to be legally recertified. I am experienced with raising and caring for children.
