Sitter in Mount Pleasant, Michigan

I have experience working as an assistant teacher at a daycare in my hometown. My position was mainly in a classroom attending to 2 year olds, but I also became a float for the other classrooms/age groups when they were understaffed. With having many nieces and nephews ranging from age 6 to 20, I've learned how to babysit in an at-home setting while being the sole caretaker, as well. I have experience with children requiring a variety of specific needs - social, dietary, academic, physical, etc. I enjoy living an active and healthy lifestyle! If desired, I would be very comfortable taking your children on walks to a park, play outside in your backyard, or find some fun activities inside to keep them busy. I love crafting, cooking, and putting together healthy meals. I know how to clean (and clean well) nearly everything inside of a home. If requested, I would be enthusiastic about assisting with some light housekeeping or deep cleaning. I have a clean driving record with a smoke-free, safe, mid-size vehicle. There are 4 additional seats in the car, if ever there were a time where I'd be asked to drive them. I am also comfortable with running any errands or grocery shopping for the household. I have plenty of experience as a Shipt Shopper, as well, so I am quick to adjust my shopping style to fit another family's needs. I'd love to help take a load off of your shoulders in any way that I could! Whether your child is a newborn or a teenager, I am excited to get to know them! I understand how crucial it is to communicate with, observe, and make connections with each individual in their own unique way. Every child has their own interests, difficulties, and quirks. Adjusting problem-solving skills, methods of positive reinforcement, ways to make one feel safe and supported, etc. per individual is one of the first things that I will focus on. It is very important to me that everybody feels listened to and respected. Regarding Covid-19, I will be be very comfortable adjusting my lifestyle to meet your needs. I am fully vaccinated! As my own personal preference, I'd like to keep the lines of communication open with this topic.
