At twelve years of age, my interest for caregiving was developed, when I started sitting with relatives, neighbors, and community friends' families. During which time, it has been possible to maintain my love in human services, by managing in-home care: ie, bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming.... overseeing that homework is completed, going to the park, swimming pool, or library.... serving dinner, everyone at the table, help cleaning up, playing board games, cards, doing arts n' crafts or puzzles.... singing or dancing. That usually is the highlight of our day, until we are all tuckered out, and get ready for a good night's rest.
