My name is Kathy, and I have enjoyed being a teacher in the field of early childhood for many years. My education is in this field. I have 15 yr. as a nanny. My CPR/First Aid are up to date. My previous family of 7 1/2 yr. had there last child start full day Kindergarten. I'm wanting to go part time 3 full days, so I can pursue more involvement in volunteer work. I'm happy to take children on fun outings.( parks, library, swimming, and play-dates) Light housekeeping,children meals, and children's laundry. I was born with a love for children, They fascinate me! If you put me in a room full of people, any time any place; you will find me with the children. If there are no children in the room, you will find me talking about them. As a nanny it is my job to be a caregiver, guide, teacher, and mentor. My goal as a nanny is to provide a safe nurturing environment that will build self esteem, teach skills, support language, and social skills. I achieve this through fun adventurous activities that promote problem solving and creativity. I'm patient and understanding as I help children deal with the emotional part of learning and growing. I love singing, dancing, working on age appropriate crafts,and playing outside. It warms my heart to watch children discover something new. I believe a great nanny partners' with parents in establishing the parents' values in the home. When the parents and nanny are consistent with expectations, children have less stress and conflict in their lives. My love for children and wide range of experiences working with children of all ages has given me great pride and joy over the years,
