Hello, My name is Patti Sheldon, and presently working as a Certified Nursing Aide and PCW. Im a mature adult who is a level headed-well rounded-an outgoing person. I believe in engaging children by means of games, crafts and outdoor fun activities to make our time together more memorable. I prefer working with children in the age group of 1 to 15 years old. At the early stages of child development, you see more of the fine motor and gross motor development. Its fascinating to me to watch them realize more about their capabilities/developing, as well as helping parents with this task. During the ages of 6 to 15 years old, children are acquiring new skills and interests, friends, as well as developing a new sense of them self while maturing While working with many of the families Ive been able to plan social outings that enrich children(s) life in helping them understand theres a different method of learning and developing. Weve visited various places as Denver Zoo/Childrens Museum/Natural History Museum/Forney Museum/Downtown Aquarium, as well as the library and park. Many of our activities are definitely geared to the age level of the child(ren), and their interests plus energy level. Its fun to be creative with play. I'm a CNA that's BLS certified and have all immunizations updated.
