Hello there! My name is Melody and I am a stay at home mom of two boys. Now that my oldest son has started school, I am looking to provide full or part-time childcare in my own home Monday through Friday (can be flexible with hours/pay rate depending on job requirements). I am very comfortable working with all ages including infants/newborns and have plenty of baby equipment in my home already (as my youngest is 8 months old - perfect for built in socialization for your child, as he will be home with me as well during the day!). I would plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities, outside time (in a fenced in yard) and support feeding, napping and potty training needs, etc. A little about me: - I have a background of 6 years working as an Educational Assistant with the school board. I provided support for students with special needs in kindergarten to grade 12. -I've worked as a nanny for two boys in a private home setting for approximately two years. -I have diplomas in both Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant, however, I am not currently registered as an RECE at this time due to working in other fields. -Willing to update my CPR certification, provide a criminal record check and references/resume upon request.
