I am a grade 12 student at South Carleton High School. I'm currently enrolled in the French Immersion program at my school so I speak both French and English. I have recently accepted an offer at Queens' University in the Concurrent Education program as working with children is my passion. I have worked as a hockey referee for the past four years and I have played competitive hockey, soccer and football for both my community and my school. . I worked at the Peak Performance summer camp as a full time volunteer two summers ago and sporadically since then. I very much enjoyed working with the children and have received great feedback from both the kids and their parents. I am responsible and mature with excellent communication skills. I am reliable, approachable and have a positive, cheerful attitude. I have a lot of experience working with people both young and old. My experience as a referee has taught me to deal with others in a respectful, but firm manner. I also have experience working as a leader at my high school's Leadership camp. I also have a love for animals and have had experience caring for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, etc. I love to cook and prepare meals and I have my own car for transportation purposes. In high school, I volunteered as a math and science tutor and would be more than willing to help enhance your children's learning skills. I'm taking a parenting class in my high school which has given me a lot of experience working with children. I am currently enrolled in a Standard First Aid and CPR course which will be completed by mid-May.
