Who I Am: Hi my name is Rae! I am an environmental studies student home for the summer (in Denver, CO) looking for families with great kids who need care. I grew up in the Denver area, and I am very familiar with the parks, the zoo, the aquarium, the pools and the museums. I love to swim! I am actually a freediver, which means I am highly trained in water rescue. I also have my first aid and CPR training up to date. I have a lot of experience working with kids in the water, because I have worked as a professional mermaid for the last few years. I also grew up dancing in a local youth company, and in the last few years taught kids dance as well. I also am an advanced scuba diver, and have been a TA in scuba courses with young kids. I also work as a tutor for high school and middle school students. I love being outside, doing art projects, singing, playing music and theatre (which means I am great at playing make believe games with kids). I am the oldest of three sisters, and have a lot of experience resolving fights and giving my time fairly to multiple kids. I went to the Denver Waldorf School, and believe kids should play instead of be on technology. I love a good movie, but would rather take your kids on a walk than put them in front of a screen. I am excited to hear from your family! Services And Training: I am available after 3pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am available from 8am to late evening Thursday, Friday, and most Saturdays and Sundays. I will be gone from July 1st to July 16th this summer. I speak Spanish fluently. I can take care of date night supervising, homework help (or summer tutoring), afternoon pick ups, cooking meals, grocery shopping, gardening and pet care if need be.
