I am a retired teacher, with 40 years of experience in classrooms with students who have regular learning abilities, special needs to facilitate learning, preschool learning activities and adults refining there academic skills in preparation for testing to earn a General Education Diploma. I believe learners at every age and need level can achieve success through activities that use their unique learning styles and interests. Hands on, exploration activities can introduce new skills to learners in a non threatening manner. This technique will provide opportunities for success with new skills and review/ reinforce prior learning. I look forward to the opportunity of facilitating the natural curiosities of young learners .Providing appropriate reinforcement will increase skills and can extinguish inappropriate behaviors through redirection to pro social activities.
