Hello I am a mother of two ages 4 and 1, with 4 years experience in early childhood development. Not to mention the 3rd of 13 children and have always been involved with the care of children throughout my entire life. I take pride in the Montessori style nursery I have and will continue to build and add to it throughout the year. Your children are kept on a schedule and are happily engaged their entire stay with everything from pre-k learning, crafts, story time, free play, and 2 meals a day with two snack times.*We can do dinner upon request* All foods prepared are natural and organic. I will ask parents to treat this experience as a family and community experience please donate toys, cleaning supplies and snacks to the class if your child should attend at your free will of course. I am very big on quality and want to maintain a pleasant environment for your child to thrive in daily. With them spending 10-12 hours in my home 5 days a week I want the children to feel at home and comfortable. I maintain a clean, upscale environment so that your child may gain the confidence and comfort they need as a growing child away from their parents. Everything from reading, music, crafts, older children will work on writing. We also incorporate various methods for example the Don Campbell method with music for children. Supplies needed for the first day: -chalk -Meals unless you are on the meal plan, expected to provide breakfast, lunch and 2 -snacks -sleeping bag or blanket and pillow you love for nap time -Daily vitamin -Immunization record -Copy of health insurance card if you have insurance for emergency purposes for future reference in the rare event your child should need hospital care we will always go to Scottish Rite for children off of exit 4 unless noted by parent otherwise. We also ask for any extra emergency care instructions if your child has allergies and etc. -bring a toothbrush and toothpaste so we can brush our teeth in between meals -crayons I also provide overnight care please inquire for details if you should need this.
