Hi, I'm Mariah :) I am a 23 year old college student with a 5 year old daughter who just started kinder. I know what it is like to struggle financially. Child care is a catch 22. To work, you have to put your kids in daycare but to put your kids in daycare, you need money. Then when you do get them in daycare, it feels like you are working just to spend all your money on daycare costs. So I would like to offer the help I wish I could have had. Get ahold of me and we can figure out something that works for you. I drop my kiddo off at school at 7am and pick her up at 3pm, mon-fri. Those are the hours I can babysit. Must be at your home because I live with others. I can also do house chores, care for pets, cook, plan fun activites (art/science/music). Willing to drive anywhere in New Braunfels and San Marcos, possibly further depending on the situation. On days when my daughter doesn't have school, I can babysit as long as I can bring her with. Mon-Fri, I can't work past 3pm but on the weekends my hours are flexible. Also, I am not judgemental. I don't care how nice your house is or if you are unconventional. Not everyone has the ideal life and I'm not here to judge you. I should also mention, I have tattoos (that I can cover up if they bother you). I also smoke cigarettes, and if that bothers you I can make sure there is 100% no trace of it on me when I'm around your child and your home. This can be a daily thing or an every now and then thing, depending how our schedules mix. I have experience with child care with my own kid, I worked for 9 months at a gym daycare, and I have watched my friend's and family's children on and off. I also was a janitor and a housekeeper for a while and have experience there too.
