Hi there, My name is Erica and I'm currently a full-time university student studying psychology. I hold a social service worker diploma and have been a children's mental health counsellor for the past three years. I have experience working with children from infancy to adolescence, am first aid/CPR certified and also completed the first year of an ECE diploma. I've babysat since I was a pre-teen and love being around kids! I'm energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and compassionate. In my work as a children's mental health counsellor and as a child care provider, I emphasize the importance of building a relationship as a way to guide children's development and support them through their emotions. I'm looking to work approximately 15 hours/week and will be returning back to work full-time in September 2019. Possibility of continuing to provide support after my return to work but would have to be flexible.
