My goal is to create an environment that fosters growth and encouragement for the child. To be on the parent’s team and have open communication with them at all times. To provide resources to help parents feel more comfortable in the role of raising their children. To instill a love of reading and an appreciation of life and those around them. I have acquired a number of skills pertinent to the job, developing curriculum's and implementing them as appropriate to the children involved. I have also had the opportunity of staying with children over night for weekend care preparing meals and looking after their hygiene needs. I do not only feel affection and enjoy children but also understand how important child care activities are; my experience has taught me that children need to be looked after properly at every stage in their lives as how we take care of them today, decides how their tomorrow is going to be shape.
