Hello! My name is Jocelyn D. Jones an advocate for Early Childhood Education. I have a passion for educating young children in unique, new, and creative ways.  I have a B.A. degree in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University  I have a TCC in Early Childhood from Ellis College.  Currently, I am in my last semester to obtain my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Walden University. Served over 1,200 families from various childcare environments in corporate, private, profit, and non-profit childcare business PD Specialist for CDA candidates for the Council for Professional Recognition Jocelyn Jones has 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She has been awarded and acknowledge for teaching and implementing creativity in the classroom. Her passion and compassion for children began with her mother who owned an in-home daycare in Lithonia, Georgia. Her mother exemplified what a childcare provider really meant. Our Educational Program at The House of Genesis Jocelyn has strategically created an age appropriate curriculum infusing cross-cultures and eco-friendly perspectives. This curriculum is called, World Exploration. This program teaches young children about basic age appropriate math, reading and alphabet recognition, race and ethnicity, urban and rural sociology in different cultures, Self exploration and family life, animals and habitats, and 5 senses and the 4 seasons, music and arts, and world geography and much more! We have a daily master routine that we followed, but the schedule is child lead. Our curriculum is filled with fun and age appropriate activities that your child will enjoy. Jocelyn observed her mother’s nurturing spirit and Agape love expressed to her students and families as a childcare provider. Therefore, that same Spirit of Godly love and nurture was imparted in Jocelyn D. Jones to educate and nurture children.
