I am currently finishing my junior year at Miami University in Ohio. I am studying Psychology and Family Science, with a Child Life Specialist concentration. My job as a full-time student is babysitting a professor's child with autism on weekly basis. During my first two years in college, I served as a tutor for elementary students at local schools. Currently, I volunteer at C.S. Mott Children's in Ann Arbor on the pediatric cardiology floor when I am home for both summer and winter breaks. I have served as a camp counselor at Flying Horse Farms, a camp for children with serious illnesses. For a few years, I worked at a home-run daycare with children ranging in age from newborn to six years old. I have vast babysitting and nannying experiences. From May 2011 to present day, I have worked for various families to look after children and pets as well as take care of household tasks. I am entrusted to maintain the flow of rigorous schedules and consistency of individual routines for the kids I nanny. Furthermore, I supply necessary support in areas of meal preparation, cleaning, homework, errands and developmentally appropriate play.
