I'm currently a stay-at home mom and while my kids have attended daycare previously while I made ends meet by working for Uber and Lyft this way was only effective for some time however after a move from Duluth to Dallas in August of last year I could no longer afford sending the two boys to daycare while working for Uber and Lyft because when we moved my four year old that had been in a pre-k program /FREE there were no available Pre-K slots at any of the nearby daycares where we had moved to and even after finding the most affordable daycare around still cost too much after doing the math I wasn't even making the extra money that the job was started for in the first place! So after racking my brain and looking into all kinds of ways to make money online and have kids with you or alternatives to traditional daycare ....what makes me feel most comfortable is to watch preferably one child in my home here in Dallas close to the Villa Rica area but also could go up to depending on child temperament maybe 3 more children! Land you can feel confident in my ability to care for your child because I have been managing multiple children at one time Since 2013 whether it be when my daughter was alive (she passed in 2016 from complication associated with leukemia) and I had in total four children that I cared for daily or in previous years when in a long-term relationship where two more children were added to the mix that were like step-children and it wasnt a awful experience I'm a mom and no one takes better care of their child then a fellow mom. Not to mention the fact that I have no criminal record in any way shape or form and I'm 30 years old. I was enrolled in a medical assistant program in Sept 2016 at which time I was certified in healthcare provider cpr which is an even more involved training then your standard basic cpr training. I believe one child would be the best fit for my smaller residence however I have a extremely large room that is filled with toys for all ages and it's possible that depending on the type of temperament of your additional child or children I could handle more but strictly on a case by case basis I am not interested in anything that would require me to watch your child without my children present as that wouldn't be possible and kind of defeats the whole purpose of this type of idea for earning extra income while having my children with me. I have absolutely no problems with driving if needed to pick up children from various locations in the nearby area I have a very reliable car that is insured and as I stated earlier being a driver for Uber and Lyft I had a background check and motor vehicle Report done which I passed in fact I have never had points on my license and I have nothing on my motor vehicle Report. Allowing me to watch your child while working or what not would allow you to have an affordable caregiver that is experienced and loving yet can set clear boundaries which are consistent so the child knows you mean what you say and follow thru with discipline every time.. Im actively researching ways to help instil a positive self image and foster self esteem in my children as well as more effective ways of disciplining than the old standard of spanking and even the all too pupluar time out which is getting a lot of attention for being ineffective while a technique called time in shows much more desired results while not isolating and abandoning a child when in reality they need more than ever to have a chance to express what they are feeling. With thst being said you are the parent so what ever u want done is how ill be with your kids :)
