I have 5 years of working with both infants and toddlers. I've worked with two families since 2012. First family when I started had an infant and a 13 month old toddler. I took care of them both until their sister was born, then I took care of all three. I was known as "The Baby Whisperer" to this family. The second family when I stared had a 5 month old little girl and I cared for her until her brother was born. Then I cared for both children. My experience and highlights include: - Fed, clothed and changed diaper's -Cleaned up messes -Engaged in child play that was developmentally and educationally appropriate. -Engaged in musical activities, arts and crafts and creative activities that were developmentally appropriate. -Helped assist in crawling and walking -Also helped in light housekeeping, such as, taking out trash, washing clothes, sweeping and cleaning up children's toys. Coordinated field trips to local parks, Discovery Place and to the pool. Safely transported children to and from school, medical appointments, and extra curricular activities. Engaged with children on and individual and daily basis to build positive relationships with them.
