Welcome! I have had experience working with kids since I was a babysitter in high school for my neighborhood and right into college where I went to a weekly volunteer site working with children through tutoring services and daycare centers. With that being said, I have tutored inner city kids for the past few years and have worked with all ages from kindergarten to eighth grade. As a result of my experience, I have gained the skills of patience, understanding, and empathy when it comes to helping children learn to the best of their ability in a way that is effective for them to learn. I am outgoing and have very strong interpersonal skills which I have gained through my experience as a sophomore mentor to first-year incoming students in my intentional community at Saint Louis University. I believe that a kid's summer should be filled with outdoor activity and experience so I would definitely be more than willing to play outside and be interactive! I am extremely passionate about education in developing countries and am currently pursuing a degree in Psychology to one day become a clinical psychologist.
