Who I Am: Hey y'all! My name is Kat, and I was raised in Atlanta, so I know the area very well! I just finished my Sophomore year at Kennesaw State University working on my major in History Education! I have worked with kids through babysitting ( approx. 3-4 years), Camps ( for special needs, military, and your everyday child), VBS (approx. 4 summers) , being a children's ministry intern at my church, working as a volunteer and fundraising/ throwing events/ entertaining/ making connections with children who have serious medical conditions as well as mental illness through a non-profit organization! I am contracted starting at the beginning of August 2019 to move to Germany for a year to be an Au Pair! I am currently seeking opportunities to sit for and get to know some families to fill my time before I leave! Description of Skills: Very comfortable working with mental and physical illness, special needs, as well as those that are just playful and imaginative! Familiar with different methods of parenting and different approaches to dicipline and rules. I am very flexible and can easially adapt to pratically any parenting style! My goal as a sitter is for the kids to have fun, but more importantly to reinforce the parent's parenting style while getting to know the children with a new face which tends to help reinforce the parent's style!
